Join Our Team
We’re a boutique San Francisco practice built around sex therapy and couples therapy, and we’re hiring licensed psychotherapists and clinical sexologists who see clients in person. Our team is sex positive, LGBTQIA+ affirming, kink and polyamory / ENM aware, attachment based and trauma informed.
Who we’re looking for
Licensed clinicians (Psychologists, MFTs, LCSWs) or clinical sexologists with training and experience working with both couples and sex therapy or sexuality focused clients. AMFTs welcome only with a supervisor already committed to signing on as an independent contractor.
You’ll need your own office in San Francisco, Napa, Berkeley, Oakland, El Cerrito, Albany, or Emeryville. We’re only bringing on practitioners seeing clients in person right now. We’re already at capacity for virtual sessions, so we’re not adding virtual or hybrid clinicians at this time.
What we offer
A steady flow of client referrals without needing to handle your own marketing, we manage that for you, customized to your specialties, focus areas, and location. Our receptionists field initial client inquiries, and our admin team understands each practitioner’s specialties to make strong client matches. You’ll have flexibility to set your own hours and competitive pay, along with opportunities for online training, teaching, blogging, podcasting, interviews, and public speaking in your area of focus, plus optional peer led online group consultations when the cohort wants them.
You can also earn hours toward AASECT certification in Sex Therapy with the right supervision and training, and clock hours toward licensure if applicable, though you’ll need your own supervision in place. Most of our practitioners see between 8 and 20 clients a week.
Independent contractor responsibilities
As an independent contractor, you’ll provide your own office space for in person sessions, along with a business phone, email, and the other essential tools for your practice. You’re responsible for your own malpractice insurance and for complying with all relevant federal, state, and local regulations, including business permits and licenses.
Your role includes providing services for individuals and partners and managing your client load as agreed. You’ll have the freedom to build your own schedule. You should maintain an active registration as a licensed clinician if it applies to you, and follow the legal and ethical guidelines defined by state and federal regulations.

Let us know your private practice goals and how joining our team might support that, and share a bit about your own experience with therapy and self growth and how it shapes you as a clinician.

We review every application carefully and follow up with candidates who are a strong fit, when we have openings.
